Honeywell PTM7950 – Genuine UK Stock, Cut to Size
PTM7950 is Honeywell's phase-change thermal interface material — the same material fitted in gaming laptops by Dell, HP and Lenovo. It softens at operating temperature to fill microscopic gaps, and unlike paste it doesn't pump out or dry up. We cut genuine 160×400 mm sheets to size in-house and dispatch the same working day before 4pm, tracked by Royal Mail.
Which thickness and film?
We stock two genuine PTM7950 variants: a clear-film version at 0.20 mm and a green-film version at 0.25 mm. Both are cut from authentic PTM7950 sheets and perform identically - choose by the gap you need to fill. If you're repasting a laptop CPU or GPU die and aren't sure, 0.25 mm is the safer choice.
How to apply PTM7950
Chill the pad in the freezer for 30 minutes so it's easy to handle. Cut it roughly 0.5 mm larger than the die on each side. Peel one protective film, press that side onto the die and smooth out any air, then peel the second film and reassemble. Temperatures improve over the first few heat cycles as the material burns in.

Is this genuine Honeywell PTM7950?
Yes - we buy full 160×400 mm industrial sheets and cut them in-house. PTM7950 is not sold in retail packaging by Honeywell; anyone offering "retail boxed" PTM7950 is not selling the genuine product. We can photograph the batch label on request.
What size do I need for my laptop or GPU?
Measure the exposed die and cut about 0.5 mm larger on each side - or order a piece slightly bigger and trim it. An 80×40 mm piece covers most laptop CPU and GPU dies with spare material.
